BLOG MUSICVIDEOS + SPOTS STILLS CONTACT
I guess this is the part where I tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in San Mateo, California and started filmmaking when I was twelve. Since graduating from USC’s cinema-television program in 2006, I have been working in the music video and commercial industry as an independant director.

In the summer of 2006 I got my first big break when I directed a music video for bay area legend, Keak da Sneak. “Super Hyphy” took off and I soon found myself to be the only independent director/company to have ever received the honor of MTV “Jam of the Week” for an unsigned artist. The video was also nominated for two “Best Rap Video” awards through the B.A.R.S. and the San Francisco Chronicle.

Since then I have been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of talented artists including DJ Shadow, Kafani, Core, Hyper Crush, etc.

Thanks for taking the time to read about me, and I hope you enjoy my work.

It's A Good Life,

Mickey
